Frequently Asked Questions
When are clothing orders placed?
The club typically opens up the store at the beginning of the year (around February or March) and again mid-year (around July). We may open up the store at other times throughout the year if there is enough interest.
How do I know what size to order?
We have a local Pactimo representative who has fit kits that you can try on. We will have the fit kit available prior to the kit order at the beginning of the year. If you would like to utilize the fit kit at a different time, please reach out to Kevin at secretary@socovelo.com.
Are there order minimums?
As a club, we have quantity and dollar amount minimums that we need to meet to be able to place an order with Pactimo. We need to order a minimum of 5 items of each type. We also need to meet a $300 minimum order (total for the club) each time we order (each time the store is open).
Am I required to purchase a jersey and shorts each year?
We require members to purchase a jersey each year, but the shorts/bibs are optional (but encouraged).
Why am I required to purchase a jersey each year?
There are two main reasons for this.
- It helps ensure that our club can continue to get great deals on custom clothing.
- Our sponsors, who help us keep the lights on, are featured on the back of our jerseys. Our kits are a major factor in keeping and attracting sponsors each year.
Who designs the kits?
Starting with the 2024 kit, we reach out to our membership for design submissions. The Board then narrows down the submissions to the top 3 designs and opens it up for a vote by members.
